Our History
Earth Resources Corporation (ERC) was founded in 1995 by Wilson W. and Stephenie Orr as a family gold mining company. It owned approx. 40 acres, a few pieces of heavy equipment, and a steel building. The company remained a small family company until 2009, when ERC obtained a KA Dual Engineering ROC License and began commercial civil contracting. It started with only two employees, Wil Orr, and his son Wyatt Orr. In 2021, Wil & Stephenie retired, and today Wyatt runs ERC with a great team of talented managers.
ERC is a heavy Civil Contractor with capability in Asphalt Paving, Chip Sealing, Underground Utilities, Earthwork, Drainage Mediation, Concrete, Gravel Production, Custom Crushing, Traffic Control, and Demolition. Today, ERC completes work as a general contractor or a subcontractor, and employs over 130 full-time people with complete benefits package, including matched retirement. ERC’s annual sales are $30 million +/- and it continues to grow cautiously.
